Osirion provide a comprehensive service from inspection and survey; to the repair, alteration and conservation of historic buildings and monuments in Dorset and throughout the South West of England.

Projects include works to listed buildings, churches, private homes, ancient monuments and architectural features, both interior and exterior.

Recent works include repairs to masonry, stone detail and historic plasters at Shute Barton in Devon for the National Trust, and the survey and structural investigation of Weymouth Guildhall.

Osirion’s award winning conservation of the Grade 1 Listed Monument of George III, for Weymouth and Portland Borough Council, was recognised as a ‘superb restoration’ of the Coade stone (ceramic) sculpture with ‘meticulous attention to detail’. Other projects of interest were the reinstatement of an agricultural lime kiln in West Dorset for Natural England and works to Lutrell’s Tower for the Landmark Trust.

With a dedicated team of professionals with expertise in traditional building methods, we constantly reappraise conservation procedures and the use of materials. We repair all aspects of the historic built environment including the conservation of historic ornament and decorative finishes.
